The Role

You will be responsible for :

Providing expert witnesses and expert court reports, including medico-legal reports, dento-legal reports, and country of origin reports, for solicitors, barristers, courts and tribunal services.

Ideal Profile

This role is suitable for: 

 Persons who have experience working within professions such as legal, academia (PhD level preferable), journalism or non-government organisations such as Human Rights Charities.

Essential Requirements:

Proficient in Written and Spoken English language to effectively liaise with the stakeholders of the region.
Proven Track Record and Experienced Credentials to comment on countries of their specialist region.
Punctual and can review documents and deliver high-quality research on time to meet deadlines.
Extensive knowledge of the legal systems and judicial processes in Latin American countries.
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and impartiality.

Desirable Criteria:

Accreditation/Membership to professional organisations that demonstrate your expertise in the field.
Any published work including books/articles/reports addressing regional issues.
Individuals with proven experience dealing with prevalent human rights, social and political issues in their respective countries of expertise are encouraged to apply.
